Day 5

So with 5 days before going back to cali, you know i have to live it up. Today went for a short hike with a bunch of friends, followed by a good juicy and tasty hamburger from the counter. My only regret today is not ordering their brownie/caramel milkshake and not bringing a tripod on the hike to shoot the falls. Oh well, even without a tripod i managed to capture this long exposure shot of maunawili falls.

Im posting my pic kinna early since the night is young and after all it is friday the 13th. Lets see what kind of bad luck or trouble i can go get into before the end of the night.

Whenever I see bamboo, it reminds me of 門松(kadomatsu) and my favorite holiday of the year. It brings me back to my childhood days when I would go to my aunties' house on new years eve and enjoy traditional foods like お雑煮(ozoni) and play with fireworks.
